Bellman Day at Gripsholm Castle

The tradition continues! On 26 July, Bellman Day will be celebrated with a concert on Slottsholmen, the palace park at Gripsholm.

Carl Ackerfeldt – opera singer and troubadour – will sing Bellman's ballads in the park Slottsholmen at Gripsholm.

There will also be theme tours of the castle focusing on Carl Michael Bellman and his stays at Gripsholm during the time of King Gustav III. The theme tours are in Swedish.

Later in the evening, there will be a concert with Duo Visklang in Gustav III's theatre, with a new and modern take on Bellman's music.
