The Royal Mews – see a film and visit the museum

Welcome to the Royal Mews – a unique destination in the centre of Stockholm that is first and foremost a workplace but also a living museum.
The Royal Mews is open to visitors year round for guided tours of the carriages, stables and harnesses. Sept–May: guided tour at 14:00, Saturdays and Sundays. For further details, see “Find out more" to the right.

The film is about eight minutes long, and gives a presentation to The Royal Mews work in connection with the ceremonial occasions.
The Royal Mews is responsible for transportation for the Royal Court, both by car – and for ceremonial occasions – by horse and carriage.
The ceremonial occasions are official visits, the opening of Riksdagen and the celebration of the National Day and the Crown Princess birthday.
